Mental health counselling services offer therapeutic support to clients struggling with various mental health disorders, symptoms, and presenting issues. There are a variety of interventions that can be employed to support clients in their treatment, including cognitive-behavioural therapy. This approach has been proven effective in addressing various mental health concerns, helping clients develop coping mechanisms and skills to manage their symptoms, and promoting long-term wellness.

Lee-Ann is a fluently bilingual registered social worker and psychotherapist with over 27 years of experience in the field. She has been providing clinical services to youths & adults of all ages with diverse backgrounds and concerns as a member of primary care teams responding to referrals from family doctors; and also through her work with other organizations like the Champlain LHIN, Employee Assistance Programs and more. This experience revealed the significance of the mind-body connection making her a great resource for people struggling with anxiety, stress (caregiving, work-related, etc.), depression, grief, chronic pain and/or illness, interpersonal/spousal challenges, trauma and ADHD. Stefan Morgan Dunn is an experienced Family Trauma Therapist with a background in youth, adult and group therapy who specializes in addiction issues, family issues, child development, anxiety, stress, and depression and suicide. Stefan graduated from the University of Liverpool, UK with a Master’s in Applied Psychology specializing in Mental Health in 2015. Stefan is adept with assessment, intervention, treatment, counselling, and many therapeutic approaches including motivational interviewing, Mindfulness Therapeutic approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Family Centered Therapy and Family Therapeutic Mediation and has extensive experience in crisis and emergency situations.

Selected Research & Contributions: • Delivered research at the Turning Point Treatment Center in Smith’s Parish, Bermuda, studying “The Effects of Family Functioning with Abstinence Following a Family Member’s Treatment for Substance Abuse” finding the powerful influence of family relationships on abstinence. • Implemented an innovative Therapeutic program for the Canadian Centre for Community and Family Mediation, 7 first nation reserves in Saskatchewan, Canada and the Tribal council of Saskatchewan, Canada. Resulted in a more effective approach successfully supporting over 50 clients with Therapeutic Family Mediation improving relationships and decreasing the number of children removed from home due to instability.

Albert Lee is a Canadian Provincial Government Wedding License and Registered Therapist (NSCCT), a Marriage and Family Therapist (License in Marriage and Family Therapist), and an Associate Member of the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT). Born in Singapore, immigrated to Canada after studying at York University in 1987. Earned two master’s degrees in clinical counseling. He has been married to Irene So So Lee since 1993. They have 5 boys and 2 girls who are growing up, successful and professional children. They have many years of homeschooling experience. Albert has pastored in Toronto churches for 20 years. In 2003, he became the first Chinese Military Chaplain of the Canadian Forces for 18 years. He has more than 30 years of experience in marriage, parents, children, personal mental health, education, and counseling in Canada. He is passionate about integrating his beliefs, professional knowledge and skills, and rich life experiences to support those in need, enabling them to face the challenges in their lives. During his treatment, Albert focused on issues of relationships, self-esteem, and emotional disturbances. He is committed to walking side by side with clients with respect, empathy, kindness, and passion, enabling them to explore the challenges they face with peace of mind.
